A portrait of Paris in white and blue by Constantin Riant
Dive into the dreamscape of the Parisian artist behind Longchamp’s exclusive capsule collection
Brought to life by an inspiring collaboration between Longchamp and artist Constantin Riant, the autumn 2025 capsule collection celebrates the French capital’s artisanal soul. Under the keen eye of artistic director Sophie Delafontaine, and with the help of journalist Peggy Frey, this new episode of Longchamp Family explores the mindful and multifaceted world of a young Parisian artist.
Illustrator, painter and ceramicist, Constantin Riant offers a poetic perspective on the City of Light in his signature colour palette: deep cobalt blue and bright porcelain white.
For Longchamp Family, Constantin Riant shares four iconic landmarks – fragments of Paris that fuel his creative process.
Watch the video to discover these locations, which spark his artistic vision and connect with Longchamp’s creative heart.

A graduate of Penninghen art school, Constantin has developed a singular approach, combining blue and white in a striking duotone rooted in the heritage of decorative arts. A lover of typography, architecture and old shop windows, Constantin wanders Paris as if leafing through a cultural handbook. He stops where a forgotten detail catches his eye: a pattern, a sign, a craft.
His works of art narrate a living city, rich in savoir-faire and artisanal expertise. Bookshops, upholsterers, florists and luthiers become a source of inspiration.
An approach in perfect harmony with Longchamp’s DNA
The exclusive capsule collection that follows is a true reflection of the artist’s vision. The Artisans de Paris silk scarf is a key piece, paying hand-stitched tribute to Parisian craftsmanship; framers, bakers and shoemakers come to life amongst its strokes of blue. Ready-to-wear and bags draw inspiration from the artist’s wardrobe. The Le Pliage bag is transformed into an everyday accomplice in creation, ready to keep sketches or laptops safe. Constantin Riant has also designed a new logo, based on Longchamp’s history and cherished symbols: leather-covered pipes, bobbins of thread, leatherworking tools and the iconic Le Pliage bag all feature, as well as a plane and boat – a nod to the Maison’s seminal travels. Discover this celebration of detail and handicraft now in the autumn 2025 collection.
“When I discovered Constantin Riant’s work, I was so struck by his attention to detail and the artisanal world. His pieces give off a timeless poetry,” reveals Sophie Delafontaine. “The logo he designed for our collaboration reflects the profound connection between art and craftsmanship; a connection which is so important to Longchamp.”
